Police In Pekin Restart The Program "Cops For Kids"

(Pekin, IL) -- The Pekin Police Department has restarted its program "Cops for Kids". Officials with the department say its bringing back the program in an effort to build better relationships with area kids during the summer months. Friday afternoon, over 85 children bowled at Sunset Lanes located on Court Street for free. Other events coming up include paddle boating in the Lagoon on Friday, July 11th from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and Mini Golf at Putt the Magic Dragon located in Mineral Springs Park on Friday, July 18th from 10 in the morning until noon.
