Storage Shed Fire In Canton

(Canton, IL) -- A fire on the east side of Canton caused damage to a storage shed. Firefighters from the Canton Fire Department say they were dispatched to the fire at the storage shed located at the intersection of South 8th Avenue and East Oak Street at about 5 this morning. Firefighters say that when they arrived at the scene they found heavy smoke coming from the east side of storage shed and flames coming from several of the eight bays. Firefighters remain on the scene this morning continuing to look into what caused the fire.
