Fall Trout Season Set To Start Next Month
(Undated) -- The fall trout season opens on October 18th in Illinois. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has stocked 50 ponds, streams and lakes with 80,000 trout for the season. And new this year says spokesperson Chris Young, is catch and released fly fishing beginning on October 4th, where anglers can practice their skills but not keep the fish.
