Teal-Painted Pumpkins Show Allergy-Free Halloween

(Undated) -- Halloween is at the end of the week, but children with food allergies don't have the same experience. Doctor Sandra Hong at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital says some of the most popular Halloween candies have the highest allergens in them. Parents should always inspect the candy before allowing any child with food allergy to eat it. The "Teal Pumpkin Project" asks families to have a teal-painted pumpkin on Halloween night with treats inside for kids with food allergies.
