Peoria Authorities Investigating Robbery

(Peoria, IL) -- Authorities in Peoria are looking into the robbery of a gas and food mart on Peoria's East Bluff late last week. Police say it happened on Friday when a man held up the "Four Boys" Gas and Food Market that is located at the corner of Prospect and McClure. The man allegedly had a gun at the time of the robbery. he left the scene on foot with an unknown amount of merchandise.

Shooting Suspect Identified

(Peoria, IL) -- The man involved in a shooting Friday night in Peoria has been identified. Police in Peoria say the suspect they are looking for is Dion Graham of Peoria. He is accused of shooting 20-year old Christopher Stepter of Peoria. Police say the shooting occurred at about 5 on Friday night in the 2200 block of Sheridan after the two argued. Authorities say that Stepter’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Former Assistant State's Attorney Charged

(Quincy, IL) -- A former Hancock County assistant state's attorney is facing four felony charges after allegedly tampering with official documents on a state computer in January. Brian Hunter is accused of deleting numerous documents and files after learning he would not be appointed to succeed Jim Drodz as state's attorney after Drodz' death. Hunter faces two official misconduct counts and two counts of computer tampering.
